STM Logística already has a warehouse for chemical products, so part of its facilities at PI Camporroso in Alcalá de Henares have been able to accommodate this type of product since January.
STM Logística had applied to the Community of Madrid for the corresponding license, dated December 27, 2024. A few days ago it received the communication from the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, authorizing it, with the registration number APQ 3700.
Therefore, and after the works, updates and improvements made in recent months, the APQ warehouse of STM Logística, complies with the RD 656/2017 (APQ Regulation), which establishes rigorous safety standards.
For this young company – although its members have extensive experience in the sector – this is a milestone that will mark a before and after in its development.
In order to obtain the APQ certification, STM Logística has invested heavily, first in an engineering project that defined the necessary improvements, and then in their installation.
Basically, the facilities have been prepared to meet the necessary requirements for the storage and handling of products corresponding to the fertilizer sector.
